Food taste was fine. Ordered a pot of chrysanthemum and the cups came in assorted teacups and glasses which was a little odd. The restaurant was rather quiet for CNY. Was also rather pricy.

Pineapple fried rice, Tom Yum Goong, green curry chicken, pandan chicken, sambal fried ferns (paku-pakis), salted egg mantis prawns were all delicious. The dessert jackfruit was a little bland and the portion was small. The owner was very nice, serving and promoting their dishes. The restaurant was considered a cozy place with a clean and comfortable environment. But the price was above average.

Lately learnt about this Thai food restaurant from a friend, personally dropped by with few friends to give a try on the food. After chatting with the friendly lady boss, only realised that this restaurant has been awarded many prestigious recognitions that became well known especially to numerous companies / factories in adjacent areas for business luncheon, team dinner or executive celebrations. Best Dish Award - Otak- Otak Seafood in fresh Coconut (must try) Besides frequently visited by corporate clients and factory groups, Golden Triangle Thai Restaurant has also been honoured to welcome many VVIP guests including members of The Royal family, the Chief Minister of Penang, government officials, diplomats and representatives worldwide especially from countries such as United States, Germany, Arab Saudi, China etc.. It is also a popular dining choice among business owners and multinational executives. As Penang continues to thrive as an international hub particularly strong in technology and manufacturing, Golden Triangle Thai Restaurant remains a top choice for many entrepreneurs from around the world. Not to be surprised that this restaurant has received credits claiming its food surpasses even the food in Thailand! I personally recommended Otak-Otak Seafood with fresh coconut, Tom Yam gong, Cashew Nuts Chicken,Green Mango Salad, Hotpot Glass Noodle with Prawn and Pineapple Fried rice (from my personal choices). With the fresh ingredients they used combined with the skilled and experienced chef, all these authentic excellent thai cuisine really satisfied my taste buds not forgetting their signature beverages like Avocado Shake, Coconut Smoothie, Passion Fruit Mojito, Blue Lagoon.. lots more to explore Will definitely come back again in near future. * relevant pictures are provided by lady boss

For me this is one of the best Thai food in Penang! I have been eating here since more than 10 years ago, and until today still my top choice when it comes to Thai food. The food here memang sedap and consistent. My must order every time is their Tom Yam soup and Thai Cashew Nut Chicken. The Tom Yam is intense, slightly spicy. The Cashew Nut Chicken is crispy and coated with a slightly sweet sauce, perfect balance! Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Thai food in Penang!

I came all the way from Kulim to Juru Autocity just for their Lemongrass Chicken and Tomyam — and honestly, it’s so worth it! The lemongrass chicken here is totally different from anywhere else — dry, crispy, full of flavour, and just perfect with rice. You can’t find this style anywhere else, seriously! Their Tomyam also never disappoints — rich, spicy, and packed with that authentic Thai kick. Every bite reminds me why I don’t mind the long drive. Highly recommend this place! Once you try, confirm repeat!
